Permit Required Confined Space Entry
This three-day course is designed to increase the student’s knowledge of hazards associated with permit-required confined space entry.
Prerequisites: None.
Credit: 2.2 CEUs
Topics include:
- OSHA’s Required Confined Space Entry Standard,
- Hazards Associated With Entry Procedures,
- Personal Protective Equipment,
- Ventilation And Purging Requirements,
- Calculations And Techniques,
- Appropriate Atmosphere Testing Equipment And Related Limitations.
Course features hands-on training with explosion meters, oxygen meters, and other test equipment.
Students take home:
- A detailed work manual. After the course, it becomes a valuable reference that helps to implement the skills learned from this course.
- A Certificate of Completion from the US Department of Labor to serve as training documentation.
