Hazardous Waste Site Safety: 40-Hour HAZWOPER Course
OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.120 standard, indicates that workers exposed to hazardous substances are required to attend 40 hours of safety training. This course examines the proper health and safety procedures and personnel protection during work operations at hazardous waste sites. Topics include hazard identification and control, safety planning, site control, personal protective equipment, site monitoring, emergency and incident response operations, and decontamination processes.
