OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health Outreach Course


This course is developed by utilizing one-hour modules from the following topics, or other relevant course topics, to meet your specific needs:

  • Introduction to OSHA, OSH Act/General Duty Clause 5(a)(1), and Subpart C: General Safety and Health Provisions, Competent Person.
  • Subpart K: Electrical
  • Subpart M: Fall Protection
  • Subpart H: Material Handling, Storage Use and Disposal
  • Subpart I: Tools, Hand and Power
  • Subpart L: Scaffolding
  • Subpart X: Stairways and Ladders
  • Subpart P: Excavations
  • Lead and Asbestos Hazards in Construction
  • Subpart Z: Toxic and Hazardous Substances

Upon completion of this course attendees should be able to:

  • Identify the common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of construction;
  • Identify abatement techniques for hazards found in construction.

Attendees will take home:

  • A wallet card identifying them as a 10- or 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Program Attendee
  • Complimentary 500-plus page copy of 29 CFR 1926
