OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health Outreach Course
This course is developed by utilizing one-hour modules from the following topics, or other relevant course topics, to meet your specific needs:
- Introduction to OSHA, OSH Act/General Duty Clause 5(a)(1), and Subpart C: General Safety and Health Provisions, Competent Person.
- Subpart K: Electrical
- Subpart M: Fall Protection
- Subpart H: Material Handling, Storage Use and Disposal
- Subpart I: Tools, Hand and Power
- Subpart L: Scaffolding
- Subpart X: Stairways and Ladders
- Subpart P: Excavations
- Lead and Asbestos Hazards in Construction
- Subpart Z: Toxic and Hazardous Substances
Upon completion of this course attendees should be able to:
- Identify the common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of construction;
- Identify abatement techniques for hazards found in construction.
Attendees will take home:
- A wallet card identifying them as a 10- or 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Program Attendee
- Complimentary 500-plus page copy of 29 CFR 1926
- A detailed work manual. After the course, it becomes a valuable reference that attendees can use to implement the skills learned from this course.
